As a third-generation Firefighter Paramedic, he has been an integral part of the City of Memphis Fire Department since 2009. Zachar's contributions extend beyond his operational duties, showcasing his leadership and innovation in recruitment and hiring strategies.

As the Director of Operations for First Response Solutions LLC, he brings extensive experience in cross-functional collaboration, security systems deployment, and effective team management.

Currently serving as the Director of Operations for First Response Solutions, a leading fire service consulting firm.

Eric Thomas

Video/marketing consultant

My name is Eric Thomas, originally from New York, I moved to Memphis in 2010 and have been a firefighter with the Memphis Fire Department since 2012. During my time on the job I completed paramedic school which afforded me the opportunity to work as both a firefighter and a paramedic for the city. From there, I went through all the required training to be accepted into the departments special operations program where I was assigned to Rescue 2. After several years on rescue I joined Tennessee Task Force One which is 1 of 28 Urban Search and Rescue teams throughout the country and have been deployed to numerous domestic emergencies over the years. I have also been a proud member of the Memphis Fire Department Honor Guard since 2016. As an independent filmmaker, photographer, graphic designer, and editor, I was able to utilize that skillset to become a videographer for the department.

His leadership has been instrumental in scaling large recruitment efforts, fostering community partnerships, and driving transformative success in the talent acquisition landscape.
